About ILikeYourOutfit.
Hi there, and welcome to ILikeYourOutfit! (ILYO). You probably ended up here because I told you: "Hey, I like your outfit!" and asked if I could photograph you and feature you on the website.
From Fashion Noob to (almost) knowing what I'm doing?
To be honest, I wouldn’t call myself fashionable. I’m a photographer by background, so I’ve always been drawn to aesthetics: light, shape, colour, and texture. But when it came to dressing myself, I was never particularly adventurous. I remember being a student when a classmate asked me, “Why are you always dressed in black?” The answer was simple: black felt safe. Black always looked good. It was a default, something I didn’t have to think too much about.
But now, in my early 30s, I’ve started to understand that clothing can be so much more than just what you put on in the morning. It’s a way to express who you are, artistically and visually.
Still, when I walk into a second-hand shop, I often feel overwhelmed. I don’t know where to start. What colours match? What kind of texture should I go for? What are the “basics” I should have in my wardrobe?
That curiosity has naturally led me to explore how we put outfits together: how colours interact, how shapes and textures play a role, and how the right clothes can highlight the unique features of every body.
ILikeYourOutfit is my personal hobby project — a space to collect thoughts, inspirations, and learnings as I dive deeper into the world of fashion.
I'm especially interested in:
Fashion Theory: Colour theory, combinations (complementary colours, etc.), textures, shapes — and how it all works together.
Real-Life Inspiration: A logbook of outfits I’ve seen and loved in everyday life, worn by people who caught my eye and inspired me.
One day, I’d love to learn how to sew and maybe even start creating pieces myself. For now, this site is simply a way to document my journey, share what I find beautiful, and maybe inspire someone else along the way.
Thanks for stopping by, and hey, I like your outfit!

This website is a personal project where I share what I’m learning along the way. I started with no idea how to dress, and now, I'm exploring how body types, color combinations, and style choices come together to create something meaningful. To me, dressing well is a beautiful form of self-expression, an artistic way to express who you are without saying a word.

On this website, I share outfits that caught my eye, each for its own unique reason. I then take a closer look, analyzing elements like color, shape, and composition to understand why the outfit works so well. It’s my way of learning what makes great style truly stand out.
